The University of Pavia, founded in 1361 in Pavia, Italy and it is one of the oldest universities in Europe with 9 faculties. Famous Alumni of University Of Pavia

Many scientists from the University of Pavia have been trained by the world. For example, Girolamo Cardano (1501-1576), Alessandro Volta (1745-1827), Camillo Golgi (1843-1926), Antonio Scarpa (1752-1832) and many others. Each of them has a lot of work that has directed the world apart, Scarpa is a medical doctor and a professor of anatomy. He recalled Golgiars biology (he won the Nobel Prize in 1906), and Volta recalled especially in the physics courses in terms of electricity and battery.
